I really hate using the word diet! it is a word that usually has a negative meaning in most people as it is mostly used for eating plans that are based on having a lot less food to achieve a temporary weight loss. So we will call this a good eating plan instead, after all, you have to eat to lose weight no matter what anyone say’s to the contrary.

This is something you are going to have to want to do……
You need to put your mind in a state that will be positive about the changes you want to make, and we can use the mirror exercise from the last post to help with that.

What is your reaction to seeing yourself in the mirror?
Most people react negatively, and say they cannot do anything to change the way they look. They say….
- I don’t have the will power,
- I can’t live without McDonalds,
- I hate exercise so much I cannot do it,
- there is no way I can go to a gym looking like this….
All sorts of excuses come up.
